Hoka One One adds to team of ambassadors

Deckers-owned running shoe brand Hoka One One has signed triathlete Kirsten Kasper and ultrarunner Tim Freriks as brand ambassadors.

“Both Kirsten and Tim have made waves and demonstrated even bigger potential on the world stage of triathlon and trail ultrarunning, respectively,” said Mike McManus, senior sports marketing manager at Hoka One One. “We are thrilled to have them on the roster as they work to become some of the very best in their sports.”

Hoka One One has grown at an impressive pace in the past 12 months. The brand achieved sales growth of 32.7% in the fourth quarter of 2016/17, building on increases of 18.3% in Q3 and 29% in Q2. The president and CEO of Deckers, Dave Powers, has said the group is “just beginning to scratch the surface of the brand’s potential”. He expects Hoka One One to grow by between 20% and 25% in the current financial year.
