Columbia-owned brand on the hunt for new CEO

08/08/2017
The CEO of yoga and travel apparel brand prAna, Scott Kerslake, is to resign from his position. Columbia, which owns the brand, said he would leave his role on August 18 to assume “another leadership position in an adjacent industry”.

Mr Kerslake joined prAna as CEO in 2009. During his time at the brand, sales have grown nearly 50%.
"Scott has led prAna through a tremendous period of growth and created a solid brand platform and a strong team with tremendous potential,” said Tim Boyle, chief executive of Columbia.

PrAna’s chief financial officer, Mike Pogue, and vice president of marketing, Nancy Dynan, will assume the leadership responsibilities at the company until a successor to Mr Kerslake can be found.

Columbia purchased prAna for $190 million in June 2014.
