Messe Frankfurt makes acquisition in India

Exhibition organiser Messe Frankfurt has said a recent acquisition it has made in the Indian market will help it expand its offering to the textile sector.

The company has acquired Screen Print India, which includes a segment dedicated to printing on textiles. The show launched in 1994 and is held every two years in Mumbai. The last edition, in 2016, attracted 100 exhibitors and 7,000 visitors.

Raj Manek, executive director of Messe Frankfurt in Asia, said on making the announcement: “As the only dedicated show in this segment, Screen Print India accelerates our strategy to expand and enhance the offerings we provide to our customers and partners in the printing and textile sectors.”
