Third acquisition for Italian textile printing and finishing group

Imprima, a global holding company dedicated to innovation in the textile printing and finishing sector, has announced the acquisition of Italian textile printing specialist Società Europa Tessile (SET).

Italian private equity fund management company Wise SGR launched Imprima in February 2017. Its first action was to acquire German finishing and textile printing company KBC and Italian textile printing specialist Guarisco. It has now added SET to its portfolio.

SET was founded in 1975 by Aldo Corvini. It has its headquarters in the town of Fiano Romano as well as a production centre in Lonate Pozzolo where it offers printed materials for fast fashion markets and conventional fashion collections. 

Imprima has said it chose to acquire SET due to its willingness to diversify its product offering and its customer portfolio. 

Following the acquisition, the holding company has said it expects its 2017 sales revenue to reach €160 million.
