Haglöfs launches V Series with “toughest insulated jacket”
Outdoor brand Haglöfs has brought to market what it claims is “the world’s toughest insulated jacket”, the first in a new range of products it is calling the V Series.

It’s a down jacket using a face fabric made from Dyneema fibre. According to  Haglöfs, the result is a jacket that is breathable, waterproof and ultra-light with, in addition, “unrivalled strength and an innovative design”.

Other features include box construction down baffles in the upper body and arms, YKK water-resistant zippers, reflective overlay tape at back and a 2D adjustable hood.

“The V Series is a celebration of our legacy within technical outdoor wear,” said Haglöfs head of design, Jacopo Bufacchi. “We are pushing the boundaries, using cutting-edge technologies that bring extraordinary function, aesthetic and performance to compete with the toughest conditions.”
