Helly Hansen supports polar training course

Outdoor brand Helly Hansen is one of the company’s supporting a scholarship programme that will enable one outdoor enthusiast to take part in a polar training course on Lake Winnipeg in Canada in January under the tutelage of polar explorer Eric Larsen.

One lucky candidate will receive travel costs, course fees and all the gear and equipment necessary, including clothing from Helly Hansen, to take part in the course.

Organisers have described the course as a week-long immersion into the world of winter travel and polar expeditions. Students will come to Winnipeg  from all over the world to learn the skills and techniques that will allow them to travel comfortably, safely, and efficiently in cold and snow. The course will take place from January 11-28.
