Freudenberg names new chief executive

Functional materials manufacturer Freudenberg has announced that its chief technology officer, Dr Frank Heislitz, will take over as chief executive of the company on April 1. He will replace Bruce Olson, who is preparing to retire after 11 years at Freudenberg.

In another in-house promotion, John McNabb is to take over as chief technology officer at the same time. Mr McNabb has worked in the Freudenberg group since 1993. He has been chief technology officer of the performance materials division since the start of 2018, taking over the role from Richard Shaw, who has also retired. From Apri 1, he will take over the chief technology officer role at group level.
