Polymer manufacturer Covestro was admitted to Germany’s DAX Index on March 19, the top 30 group of companies listed on the Frankfurt stock exchange. Covestro’s achievement has won many admirers because it was only spun off from Bayer in 2015.
The company has also confirmed that Dr Markus Steilemann will be its new chief executive; he will take up the role in the coming weeks.
