Boardriders names new leadership team

Boardriders, which is the parent company of Quiksilver, announced its acquisition of Billabong at the start of this year and said it was keen to discuss a potential future role for Mr Fiske. Just before the completion of the Billabong deal on April 24, Boardriders released the names of 17 people who will join its leadership team, but Neil Fiske’s name is not among them.
Chief executive, Dave Tanner, said on making the announcement: “We want to thank Neil Fiske, Peter Myers, Tracey Wood, Jim Howell, Mara Pagotto,
Paul Burdekin and the Billabong board of directors for their dedication to the success of Billabong, its
people and heritage. While they will be transitioning from their roles, we greatly appreciate their
partnership throughout this transaction and the strong organisation and legacy they leave in their wake.”
Former Boardriders chief executive, Pierre Agnes, lost his life in a sailing accident in January.
