Arkema celebrates “excellent results” for Q1

Textile chemicals manufacturer Arkema has reported sales of nearly €2.2 billion for the first quarter of 2018, an increase of 7.3% compared to the same period in 2017. Earnings on that figure reached €383 million, 7.9% up on the corresponding figure for the first quarter of last year.

Commenting on the results, chief executive, Thierry Le Hénaff, said: “These excellent results are supported by the success of our innovation drive in advanced materials.”
