Nike names new global chiefs for two divisions

Sportswear manufacturer Nike has appointed Rosemary St. Clair as general manager of its Global Women’s division and Cesar Garcia as general manager of Global Running. 

Ms St. Clair has been with Nike for more than 30 years, most recently in the positions of general manager of Field Sports and Specialty North America and general manager of China Running. 

Mr Garcia’s promotion is the latest stage of a 17-year career at Nike, during which time he has led the company’s Running division in both Japan and Western Europe. 

“Rosemary and Cesar bring strong leadership, with deep business knowledge and experience in leading large, diverse teams,” said Amy Montagne, Nike’s general manager of Global Categories. “Together, they will bring a passionate and innovative approach to their respective roles and help continue to accelerate our category offence.”
