Houdini signs up to work with OrganoClick

Swedish brand Houdini has begun to offer outdoor enthusiasts OrganoClick waterproofing technology through its network of own-brand stores, its e-commerce platform and its shop-in-shop concessions.

OrganoClick’s main product, Organotex, is a patented and awarded technology for modification of textile fibres that is completely free from perfluorinated compounds and other potentially hazardous substances.

Chief executive, Mårten Hellberg, said he was happy about the collaboration between his company and Houdini, saying this would allow OrganoClick to reach a group of outdoor enthusiasts for whom the environment is especially important.

Materials development manager at Houdini, Malin Wetterborg, added: “We work extremely hard to make our garments circular and biodegradable. It’s all about not leaving any footprint  in the environment. With OrganoTex, we have found a partner that thinks alike, and whose impregnations prolong the lifespan of garments without damaging the environment.”
