Indorama celebrates recognition from the Carbon Disclosure Project

Polymer, fibre and chemicals manufacturing group Indorama has had its work on sustainability recognised by the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a global organisation that gives companies credit for their efforts to tackle climate change and prevent environmental damage.

CPD aims to make environmental reporting a business norm to drive disclosure, insight and action towards a more sustainable economy. It has scored Indorama at level B, whereas, according to the Thai company, many of its peers score at level C.

Commenting on this matter, Indorama said: “We have developed a policy and strategic framework within which to take action and reduce negative climate change impacts and to accelerate and intensify actions and investments needed for a sustainable low carbon future.”
