Toray to launch protective clothing range in Europe after CE approval

11/02/2019
Japanese fibre and textile producer Toray has said it will formally launch a protective clothing range called  the Livmoa 3000 series in Europe and North America.

The move follows certification under the European Union’s Personal Protective Equipment Regulation (EU) 2016/425 for the fabric used in the series, which means Toray will be able to put CE marking on the clothing and distribute it in international markets.

Livmoa 3000 launched in Toray’s home market, Japan, in 2017 and has had a positive reception owing to the high levels of protective properties and of breathability that it offers.
