Frankfurt gears up for Techtextil 2019

In collaboration with Creative Holland, which represents the Dutch creative industries, the exhibition will dedicate space to the them ‘Urban Living – City of the Future’. Here, it will showcase examples of how textiles might be used in the cities of the future.
Techtextil will also include a new forum, consisting of talks, discussions and interactive features. It will run across all four days of the fair, covering topics like sustainability, smart textiles, digital transformation and technical textiles in medical technology. It will be available to all participants free of charge, replacing the Techtextil Symposium that has been a feature of previous editions.
A central topic of the 2019 exhibition, and of the co-located Texprocess event, will be sustainability. The two fairs will showcase the efforts its exhibitors are making to drive sustainability. This will include by highlighting sustainable textile innovations and processing methods.
For the first time, in 2019 Techtextil and Texprocess will share a hall. In hall 4.1 of the Messe Frankfurt site, Techtextil will show companies supplying fabrics, NCFs, woven and knitted goods, coated textiles and non-wovens, plus selected providers of textile machinery. Alongside these exhibitors, Texprocess will place providers of functional clothing textiles and the digital textile micro-factory.
