Indorama posts best-ever annual results

Polyester manufacturer Indorama has announced its full-year results for 2018, with revenues of $10.7 billion, an increase of 27% compared to the previous year.

Its net profits on this amount were $819 million, which represents a rise of 33% compared to the figure for 2017.

Indorama said at the time of the announcement that these are its best-ever annual results and would have been even better but for a weaker fourth quarter, during which plants in Europe experienced unplanned shut-downs.
