OSV invites applicants for outdoor degree courses
Trade association Outdoor Sports Valley (OSV), which seeks to encourage closer co-operation among companies working in the outdoor industry in France, is inviting applications from candidates interested in completing one of four degree courses related to the industry.

OSV has developed the courses in partnership with universities and business schools in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France, organisations with which it has been working since 2012 to train future managers and technicians for outdoor companies.

Three of the courses are undergraduate degrees, in performance sports textile and footwear, sports design and communications, and international sales specialists in sports. The fourth is a Master’s degree in science in sports industry management.

Brands that support this aspect of OSV’s work include Salomon, Columbia, adidas, Fusalp, Millet, Eider, Arva and Icebreaker.
