Elevate Textiles names chief executive

Per-Olof Loof has been named as the chief executive of Elevate Textiles, the group formed earlier this year after the integration of American & Efird (A&E) and International Textile Group.

Elevate’s brands include A&E, Burlington, Cone Denim, Gütermann and Safety Components, which, together, run 37 facilities around the world and have more than 15,000 employees.

Mr Loof’s has spent much of his career with technology companies. Most recently, he was the chief executive of Kemet Electronics Corporation.
