Amer Sports offloads Mavic brand

Finnish group Amer Sports has announced it has completed the sale of the shares and related cycling business of its Mavic brand. The new owner is US private equity firm Regent.

Amer has said the divestment will not have an impact on the results of its continuing business. It reported its cycling business as discontinued operations for the full year 2018. 

Mavic specialises in cycling systems and equipment.
