OIA chief to leave for The North Face

The Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) has announced that its executive director Amy Roberts will leave the organisation at the end of September to become senior director of communications and corporate social responsibility at The North Face.

She became executive director of OIA in 2015, having served the organisation in various capacities for a number of years prior to that.

Announcing her departure, Nora Stowell, OIA board chair, said the organisation would be “forever grateful for Amy’s service, steady leadership and dedication to the industry”. 

The search for Ms Roberts’ successor at the head of OIA will commence immediately. She will remain in her role until the end of September and will support the search process and subsequent transition.
