Five cotton industry professionals from around the world have successfully completed an online study programme jointly organised by the International Cotton Association (ICA) and the University of Liverpool and have gained a Professional Certificate in Commodity Management (PCCM).

ICA managing director, Bill Kingdon, paid tribute to the students’ hard work in completing the programme of around 100 hours, divided into six modules. He said: “I hope that this will prove to be a valuable step in the development of the careers of each successful candidate.”

A second and final tranche of five students embarked on the same course at the start of 2019 and are scheduled to finish it next year.
