Ortovox sets up its own distribution company in France

Outdoor brand Ortovox has set up its own distribution company in France, based in Annecy. The brand will, therefore, manage the supply of its own performance clothing, backpacks and avalanche security products to retailers across France.

Commenting on the development, chief executive, Christian Schneidermeier, said: “France has always been a key market for us and the launch of our own distribution set-up in France is a logical step. It’s the fourth time we’ve set up something like this, following similar launches in Austria, Canada and the US. Our aim is to improve the brand’s global growth.”
