$1m pledged to imagination.org on inaugural Vans Checkerboard Day
On November 21, footwear brand Vans will be donating $1 million of global sales made through their retail locations to Imagination.org, a non-profit organisation that promotes creativity and entrepreneurship in children, powered by Two Bit Circus Foundation.

Vans global brand president Doug Palladini said: “Imagination.org is the perfect partner to spark a global movement to empower our youth by harnessing everyday creativity to create a brighter future.”

The date will coincide the inaugural Vans Checkerboard Day, which will become an annual event to inspire global creative expression.

“Vans Checkerboard Day is an opportunity for us to put a stake in the ground and rally our internal team, our extended Vans family and our fans around the world to come together to celebrate creative expression and make a difference in the lives of our youth,” added Mr Palladini.
