Updated odour-control has nonionic formulation

Textile developer and manufacturer HeiQ is launching a range of updates and additional fabrics to its ranges, including an upgrade to its odour-control solution.

Pure TAG, a recycled silver-based odour control product, now has a nonionic reformulation, which is said to be compatible with most textile finishing. 

The company is also launching additional fabrics and insulation packages for XReflex, a solution designed to offer the same level of warmth but with up to half the insulation, reducing bulk and requiring less material. 

According to HeiQ, XReflex can enable an average insulated jacket to reduce its environmental footprint and save up to 280g of CO2, 10MJ of energy and 6L of water.
