Swiss textile innovator HeiQ has announced the creation of new subsidiaries in China and Taiwan, a move it said is designed to help it more effectively serve its customers in the region.

HeiQ Greater China will be based in Shanghai and will be led by Celine Huang, who has extensive experience in the textile industry. She has a degree in chemical engineering, with a focus on dyeing and finishing.

Taipei will be the home of HeiQ Taiwan. The company has chosen Ming Wen Liang as CEO of this division, a role that will see her manage mill relations, technical support and distribution. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the textile and garment production supply chain.

Announcing these appointments, HeiQ co-founder and CEO, Carlo Centonze, said: “We are very proud to have Celine and Ming join the HeiQ family. We believe our people are our success, and with the creation of HeiQ China and HeiQ Taiwan, we add more depth and speed to our team.”

The company already operates a subsidiary in Hong Kong.
