HeiQ to use new cooling technology to add to Smart Temp range

Swiss textile innovator HeiQ will add a suite of new products to its Smart Temp activated cooling range. It said on making the announcement that the new products will be based on its recently unveiled, patent-pending instant cooling hydro functional polymer and will be customisable for different fabric types.

The new thermoregulation technology enables an instant but long-lasting cooling effect on fabric, HeiQ has said, activated by the wearer’s body heat.

It says long-term brand partners using Smart Temp in their products are showing high interest in the new “cooling possibilities”. These include Burton, Champion and Kjus.
