HeiQ steps up its efforts in Spain and Portugal

Announcing the launch of the division, the company said this region is an important one for many of its brand partners. It added that many textile manufacturing activities take place there.
The person it has chosen to lead its business in Spain and Portugal is Raquel Vaz Vieira, who has been appointed to the role of Brandforce Director Iberia. Her responsibilities will include managing brand relations and technical support, and leading innovation related to HeiQ’s thermoregulation offerings.
Her previous roles have included being in charge of the phase change materials (PCM) and thermoregulation microencapsulation business units of Belgian textile finishing specialist Devan Chemicals.
“I joined HeiQ because of my passion to innovate and sell products that solve a market need” said Ms Vaz Vieira. “HeiQ is the leader in creating high-end textile innovations with their brand partners to deliver accredited value to end customers.”
HeiQ has also announced the appointment of Widyanti Winarto as its chief operating officer (COO). She will oversee operations for the whole group.
