Spanish headwear company Buff has added HeiQ’s Smart Temp cooling technology to its latest line of scarves.

Predominantly used by cyclists and under motorcycle helmets, the garments use CoolNet UV fabric, which also protects from the sun’s rays.

Cooling is activated by rising body temperature and deactivated once cooling is complete.

“We are pleased that our technology will allow the consumer to stay dry and feel cool,” said Christian von Uthmann, HeiQ’s chief sales officer.
