PrimaLoft establishes licensing business unit

24/01/2020
A new business unit for PrimaLoft will focus on licensing the company’s technologies. Current senior vice president and managing director for Europe, Jochen Lagemann, will take on the additional role of running the new unit as president of PrimaLoft Licensing.

The new unit will help expand the reach of the company’s advanced material technology to industries and applications outside of its core market, said Mike Joyce, PrimaLoft president and CEO.

Bob Sameski will be the new unit’s vice president. Mr Sameski brings experience in licensing, having worked with Symphony Investment Partners as an advisor to licensing partnerships, mergers and acquisitions. Before that, he was VP of sport and active brands at Marquee Brands, where he directed all licensing, marketing, brand management and e-commerce for the Body Glove brand.

The company has also promoted Chris Humphris to senior vice president, global sales, in a strategic move to align North American, European and Asian sales efforts for the company. Mr Humphris has held sales roles with the company for more than 20 years, most recently as senior vice president of sales for the Americas.
