31/01/2020
Bergamo-based yarn developer Tecnofilati used the occasion of ISPO 2020 in Munich to introduce Resistex, a new range of yarns containing graphene.

Tecnofilati said that, thanks to its use of graphene, the yarns offer high levels of electrical and thermal conductivity, as well as a higher level of durability and abrasion-resistance than polyester or polyamide.

Founder and chief executive, Andrea Abati, said on introducing the new products: “With graphene as part of the range of Resistex yarns, we will offer sports enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy a new experience during physical activity. The distinctive elements of graphene will lead to improvement in the performance of fabrics and allow athletes to obtain an ever-better performance from their bodies.”
