US companies develop ‘virus-killing ink’ for sportswear

Graphene Composites Limited (GC), a nano-materials technology company has teamed up with sports gear company G-Form have teamed up to develop and products that “capture and kill coronavirus”.
G-Form medical and athletic gear will be pre-treated with a GC silver nanoparticle/graphene oxide ink application that captures droplets.

Sandy Chen, GC CEO, said: “Our team at GC has been aggressively developing this solution to provide healthcare workers and athletes the confidence to perform their tasks. Quickly developing and deploying our virus-killing ink would make a significant difference in slowing the rate of infection.”

The products are in active testing at a leading university and laboratories in both the UK and US.
