UKFT releases British Textile and Colour Trends for SS21

The report shows that through colour combinations and sophisticated structures, SS21 celebrates nature and diversity. “Attention continues to be focused on identifying the best ways of utilising resources in the creation of desirable fabrics,” said UKFT, “from sourcing of raw materials, creation of yarns, clever decisions regarding construction and manufacture, all followed through by innovative ideas around disassembling and regeneration.
UKFT says that the colours SS21 updates core fabric offering, uses trans-seasonal fibre blends, employs classic luxury yarns and reworks vintage heritage patterns, with a flexible approach to design and manufacturing.
