Dakine releases women’s mountain bike apparel collection
Hawaii-based outerwear brand Dakine is extending its reach into mountain biking with a women’s bike apparel collection and a high-performance protective gear line.
The women’s bike apparel collection includes a long-sleeve jersey made with stretchy, breathable polyester and a moisture-wicking glove made with Pittards goat leather on the palmt. The company launched the line with female professional mountain biker Casey Brown, considered a pioneer in women’s mountain biking.
Dakine said the retro, gender-neutral colorways and relaxed fit “fill a gap in the women’s bike apparel market”.
