Campaign for Reebok trainer conceived and executed in quarantine
In an ad that’s certainly of its time, the latest performance trainer from Reebok was conceived and executed in quarantine. Instead of athletes running through picturesque trails or engaged in competitions, a CGI version of mixed martial artist Conor McGregor moves throughout a house strewn with children’s toys that come alive to battle him.
The Zig Kinetica — which pulls together the brand’s three-part energy system, responsive cushioning, and ‘energy bands’ of rubber that expand and contract for a springback response — comes in unisex sizing.
The shoes are a collaboration between the sports brand and designer label Chromat, which said the bold colours and technical aspects were drawing from ideas of deep sea and space exploration.
