Reebok adds forefoot strap to Nano

The latest iteration of Reebok’s Nano silhouette comes with a new technical update: a forefoot strap across the laces to keep wearers “secure and locked in”.

The shoe, called the Nano X Froning, is a collaboration with Rich Froning, a professional CrossFit athlete who has been named “Fittest Man on Earth” four times. The footstrap, according to Reebok, was inspired by Mr Froning who was known to rarely tie his shoes in the early stages of his career.

In addition to the footstrap, the shoe has a three-string rope lacing system, said to reflect Mr Froning’s “dominance on the rope” and “the three pillars he credits in guiding his life – faith, family and fitness”.
