Joe Dudy, previously the VP of finance for Wilson Sporting Goods, has been formally appointed president of the brand. The 25-year veteran of the company has been acting leader since Michael Dowse left the role in October 2019.

Heikki Takala, president and CEO of Wilson’s parent company Amer Sports, praised Mr Dudy’s leadership through the covid crisis. In his role as acting leader, he initiated a global partnership with the National Basketball Association in the US.

Mr Dudy started his career with Wilson in 1995 and became vice president of finance in 2005.
