Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA) is hosting a digital event later this month centred around sustainability insights and strategies for the footwear industry.

The Digital Shoe Sustainability Summit, running from August 31 through September 4, invites professionals from shoe retailers, brands and factories to attend webinars and see videos featuring speakers from VF Corp, Wolverine, Deckers, Reebok and more.

Topics will include designing shoes with sustainability in mind, circularity, sustainability programmes, sustainability innovation and collaboration trends, sustainable sourcing, digital tools and optimising packaging.

FDRA said registrants will have access to three live webinars with “top sustainability experts” who will share new ideas and take questions. Registration is available on the event’s website www.shoesustainabilitysummit.com.
