FDRA recruits top footwear executives to ‘reinvigorate’

Footwear executives from groups including Converse and Pentland have joined the Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA)'s board, in what it calls an “effort to reinvigorate the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY)”.

FDRA chairman Mike Jeppesen, president of global operations at Wolverine Worldwide, said: “FDRA is now more vital than ever after taking over FFANY, New York market weeks and as it continues to provide companies with key business data and intelligence.

"These new board members will enhance our mission in support of our efforts to remake market weeks and work more closely together across categories and channels, reinvigorating the industry in 2021 and beyond.”

The new members are: Brandis Russell, vice-president of global footwear at Converse; Tanya Golesic, president of Jimmy Choo; Susan Itzkowitz, president of Marc Fisher Footwear; Keli Lerdal, director of global sourcing at Target; Tacey Powers, executive vice-president of GMM Shoes at Nordstrom; Carrie Rubin, president of North America for Pentland; Robert Geller, chief revenue officer at White Mountain; and Jim Salzano, CEO at Jones & Vining.
