The Hundreds collection mixes sustainability and inspiration
California-based The Hundreds has partnered with Puma on a line of footwear, apparel and accessories made with sustainable materials and organic cotton, and featuring inspirational messages.
Many pieces in the recycled and organic line are reversible, transformable and multi-use. Sustainable materials used throughout include recycled rubbers, organic cotton, chrome-free leathers and recycled meshes for uppers, lining and sock liners. Graphics highlight the sustainable aspect of the collection.
The collection includes new takes on classic pieces, such as the Performer, pulled from Puma’s tennis archives and redesigned with recycled materials on the upper. Accessories include the Convertible Bag, which can be both a shopper and a crossbody bag, has the words “For the World” printed across the side.
“Puma and The Hundreds aim to transform the way we live and think in order to work towards creating a better world through this drop,” the company said.
