Performance Days cancels physical event
Munich-based performance fabrics fair Performance Days has cancelled its physical event in December, instead moving the show online.
Exhibitors and visitors have expressed that covid-19 travel restrictions would make it too difficult to attend, and rising infection rates in much of Europe mean further restrictions could be imposed.
“As a result, the December 2020 edition will unfortunately not take place at the Messe München, but as digital fair,” said organisers.
Performance Days founder Marco Weichert said: “We’ve done our homework. We were not only one of the first organisers to launch a digital textile fair with our fair in April but also have managed to further develop and optimise the concept and functions.”
The show will take place on December 9 and 10, with many features available online for a longer time. Talks and seminars will be confirmed in the next few weeks.
