Updated collection includes Carhartt's warmest coat
Workwear brand Carhartt has updated Yukon Extremes, a collection it first launched more than 25 years ago. The collection, built for men and women who battle extreme cold conditions, is its warmest and most durable gear, the brand said.
Fabrics it sourced for many of the pieces in the updated collection include a 500-denier Cordura fabric shell and 3M Thinsulate insulation. Additionally, throughout the design process, Carhartt worked closely with 3M to introduce a new reflective safety technology.
The updated collection includes an insulated parka with an adjustable hood and rib-knit storm cuffs designed to keep the cold out. This parka has proved in proprietary testing to be Carhartt’s warmest coat.
There are also insulated coveralls to keep wearers moving comfortably in extreme cold and to protect them from rain, snow and wind.
