No uphill battle for Klättermusen
Swedish mountaineering equipment brand Klättermusen introduced the Lodur anorak and Jolner jacket into its ski mountaineering product range recently.
The soft-shell items are made from proprietary three-layer Cutan fabric, which Klättermusen described as being waterproof, ventilating, soft, flexible, fluorocarbon-free and as having “great stretch”. Both pieces are “durable and warm, without adding layers and bulk”, the brand said.
Klättermusen described Lodur as a “breathable option with superior flexibility”, thanks to its zipper-free construction. Jolner is also made for free movement and flexibility, while “still durable enough to withstand snow and ice”.
With its ventilation focused on the front (“for maximum use during ascents with skis attached to the backpack”), the Jolner jacket is designed to be worn with a backpack.
