More than 30,000 trade visitors to first digital ISPO

A total of 31,574 visitors from 110 countries accessed the digital content of ISPO 2021 from February 1-5. The event, online only this year, offered presentations from 545 exhibitors.

Chief executive of ISPO organiser Messe München, Klaus Dittrich, said: “Even as a digital event, ISPO Munich has lived up to its role as a leading platform and source of inspiration for the entire sports and outdoor industry.”

From an exhibitor’s point of view, Oliver Pabst, chief executive of Mammut Sports Group, said he thought the first digital ISPO Munich had offered “an excellent opportunity for us to show how we use digitalisation to present our brand and the key topics of sustainability, digitalisation, innovation, and quality.”

He said he had been particularly pleased with how the Brandroom function had worked, providing an opportunity for an “intensive exchange” between brands and their retail partners.
