Sports brand Puma has released a new version of its King football boot.

As football becomes faster and faster, the brand said “control is key”. For this reason, it has introduced a new rib structure to the boot, for this new version, King Platinum 21.

The rib structure fuses to leather in the upper “in key contact areas”. Puma has said this will give players “increased responsiveness”.

For comfort, there is anatomical padding in the boot’s interior and a knitted tongue for a snug fit.

Famous wearers of Puma King boots have included Eusébio, Pelé, Johan Cruyff, Diego Maradona and Neymar Junior.
