Stores remain core for Arc’teryx
Outdoor brand Arc’teryx has announced that it succeeded in making all of its stores run only on renewable energy in 2021.
The brand had 159 stores across the world at the end of last year, having opened in 21 new locations, increasing the total by 15%.
Arc’teryx said it has plans to open a further 20 new stores in the course of 2022.
“Community is the key for success in retail,” said Stephanie Jamieson, the brand’s community director. “Whether it’s providing the best gear and product advisors at our stores, offering the opportunity to learn new skills through community events, or supporting local leaders to share their knowledge and passion for the outdoors, our store locations exist to support the community.”
She said the brand’s stores also play an important role in showing consumers how best to extend the lifetime of products through care and repair.
