Alpen opens biggest-ever flagship in Tokyo

The 3,700-square-metre space boasts five floors, including sections specific to particular pursuits such as water sports, tennis, golf, camping and outdoor gear.
Alpen, which was founded in 1972, will mark its fiftieth anniversary with two sales periods at the new store, the first from April 1 to 11 and the second from April 15 through 25. It reportedly aims to sell around 350,000 units in total across the promotional windows.
Company president, Atsushi Mizuno, commented: “There is potential in the city centre because our market share is low. It will be an opportunity to meet many new customers.”
