Infinna certified as at least 99% PCR cellulose
Finnish textile technology company Infinited Fiber, which specialises in making a regenerated fibre called Infinna out of cotton-rich textile waste, has received third-party recycled content certification for its flagship fibre by the SCS Global Services recycled content standard.

This means that Infinna is now certified as containing a minimum of 99% post-consumer recycled (PCR) cellulose content.

Co-founder and chief executive at the Espoo-based manufacturer, Petri Alava, commented: “We’re thrilled to have received this recognition, as it something we can share with our partners and collaborators as we work towards conserving natural resources, stopping waste from being wasted and making textile circularity an everyday reality.”

Infinited Fiber’s supporters include Zalando, adidas, Patagonia, H&M Group, Bestseller’s investment arm and Chinese viscose producer Sateri.
