Patagonia has developed a new waistband and locking system for its men’s boardshorts.

It said it had developed the new system, Hydrolock, has a contoured waistband with a locking system “designed to keep your trunks in place even when the surf’s as heavy as it gets”.

Its Hydrolock boardshorts are lightweight, with streamlined four-way stretch, made from recycled polyester.
