Patagonia Korea uses recycled down in 86% of lines
Outdoor brand Patagonia’s South Korean arm has revealed that 86% of its lines containing natural down now exclusively use recycled down filling, according to local media.

The medium-to-long-term aim is to only offer natural down apparel which depends solely on recycled material for its insulation properties, reports added, in a bid to extend Patagonia Korea's reliance on recycled filling to 100% of the product category.

Patagonia first introduced recycled down globally in 2016 and typically uses a mix of either 600- or 700-fill-power goose and duck down reclaimed from post-consumer soft furnishings that cannot be resold, according to its US website, such as cushions and bedding.

All natural down outerwear made by Patagonia is produced in a Fair Trade Certified factory, the business says.
