Partnership marks World Mental Health Day for adidas
Sports brand adidas announced a new partnership with mental health platform Calm on October 10. It said it made the announcement to coincide with World Mental Health Day with the aim of “progressing sports performance through supporting mental wellbeing”.
There will tailored content from Calm’s wellness programmes available to adidas e-commerce customers, and those who have signed up for the sports company’s loyalty programme will have the opportunity to use points they have earned to have access to the operator’s premium services. The service will run as a pilot in the UK and the US.
Calm’s vice-president for partnerships, Fergal Walker, said: “Mental and physical wellbeing are deeply intertwined. Our partnership with adidas will begin to bring mental health and physical health closer together and we look forward to bringing these benefits, to professionals and amateurs alike, in the coming years.”
